Monday is going to be a really great day for me.  I am filling in for Tony Maz on 985 The Sports  Hub in Boston Hosting the Baseball Reporters show.  If you would like to listen here is a link Listen to The Baseball Reporter Show on 985 The Sports Hub.  I will also have a new Inside the Dugout Podcast with Kevin Kennedy later this afternoon as well.

Doing a show for Red Sox Nation will be a treat.  They are passionate, opinionated, and love their team.  For them being a part of Red Sox Nation means as much to them as being a part of their own family.  For them Fenway Park is a holy place in Red Sox Nation.  Like an American visiting the White House or the Capital Building only more exciting.  It’s a place that they meet and join in one heart beat rooting for the BoSox.  Some cities have a stadium or a ballpark where their team takes the field.  In Boston it’s not just a ballpark or a stadium it literally and figuratively home.

My Random thought of the day is … do we really take time to appreciate the special places we have in our lives that we visit everyday.  Do we really take time to appreciate our house we live in now, because years from now we will look back wistfully at the house we grew up on or where you raised your kids.  Do we think about where we work and play and take time to really think about and take a moment to enjoy what life has to offer.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
